‘Hanami’ Literally means ‘looking at flowers’ in Japanese. It refers to de period the Japanese cherry blossoms are in bloom. Also known as ‘Sakura’. In Japan, the cherry blossoms stand for spring, love, happiness and most of all; new beginnings. ‘Hanami also means ’to enjoy, ‘admire’ or ‘reflect’.
